Salary: Band 4 £22,914 – £26,419 per annum inclusive 
Hours of work: 37.5 per week

St Joseph’s Hospice is based in the east end of London and we are looking for a self-motivated and skilled 2nd line Helpdesk Support engineer to provide technical support to approximately 300 users, primarily based onsite but with a small number offsite and some mobile users.

St Joseph’s hospice runs its entire IT infrastructure in-house and so the successful applicant will be expected to have a wide variety of skills and good troubleshooting and research skills. The successful applicant will need to have good problem solving skills and will get the opportunity to dabble in every aspect of IT systems and infrastructure and contribute ideas to the overall operations and future direction of the IT team.

The role would suit an individual who is able to work with the minimum of supervision and is a good communicator; able to convey technical matters to non-technical audiences of all levels.
