Hospice to benefit from generous wedding dress donation

Brides-to-be will have the chance to pick up a designer dress for a fraction of the price at a special showcase in Hertfordshire – with all the money raised going directly to the charity.

Lesley Blencowe, Director of Retail and Trading at Rennie Grove, explained that the dresses have been donated by a leading wedding dress manufacturer:

“The sheer scale of this generous donation has been staggering.  We now have a huge stock of incredibly beautiful wedding and bridesmaid dresses and we need to find buyers for them all to translate this generous donation into money to help our nurses care for local patients.”

The Exclusive Wedding Dress Sale will take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 April at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Tring, Hertfordshire.

“We’re inviting brides-to-be along to one of four different three hour sessions where they’ll be able to browse through our extensive selection and try on the ones they like,” said Lesley.  “Most of the dresses are one-offs but we have such a large selection in every size from 8 to 20 that we can guarantee plenty of choice of styles for everyone and the added bonus is that we can keep prices low and offer incredible value for money.”

Those wishing to come along to The Exclusive Wedding Dress Sale are asked to pre-register for the session of their choice online. Photos of some of the dresses are available on the Facebook page  or on Twitter @WeddingDressSa1.
