We are situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside near Haywards Heath, providing specialist short and longer-term integrated palliative care. The Hospice has the following vacancy within its busy Fundraising Department.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our successful Fundraising Team in the role of Individual Giving & Legacy Fundraiser.

You will lead and manage the development and delivery of individual giving activities in line with the new fundraising strategy and the wider Hospice business plan. You will oversee the development, management and support of all active and prospective donors establishing best practice donor stewardship in coordination with the wider fundraising team.

With experience of individual giving and legacy processes within a similar role, you will be able to deliver the individual giving strategy that allows the hospice to successfully achieve its strategic goals and meet/exceed income targets. You will develop and deliver acquisition and retention fundraising campaigns on time and to budget, ensuring that all donors receive an excellent experience.

You will contribute to the legacy marketing plans in conjunction with the Trust & Legacy Manager and Head of Fundraising. You will continue to be abreast of latest developments and trends in fundraising and create new opportunities and initiatives for the individual giving fundraising activity. You will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with a wide variety of people and organisations. You should also be comfortable working within a team or on your own.

Due to our location you must have your own transport and the post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
