The Heart of Kent Hospice provides expert palliative care and end of life care for people across Mid-Kent, serving a population of approximately 220k. We now have the following opportunity which is a key role within our team responsible for supporting the delivery of our services to the local community.
An experienced person is required to develop and manage the Hospice’s Icare patient database and associated systems, ensuring that information and patient services requirements are supported.
You will be responsible for clinical data management, delivering clinical and bespoke reports and analysis, and providing a key information and decision support function to the Patient Services Director.
Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have significant experience of managing patient or clinical databases within the health/community care/voluntary sector. Outstanding written, oral and presentation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail will be required.
