Interim Assistant General Manager

Six months fixed term contract – full time 37.5 hours per week

Saint Francis Hospice is a forward thinking organisation delivering specialist palliative care services via an 18 bedded in-patient unit, a community palliative care service, a hospice at home service and a specialist palliative care therapy unit. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to assist the General Manager to oversee the running of our shops operations in this thriving multi-site charity retail business. The hospice currently has 16 shops across a wide geographical area including specialist furniture, electrical and general retail outlets. Each shop is staffed by a mixture of employed staff and volunteers.

You will be responsible on a day to day basis for managing the shops team, offering support and development to ensure that each shop optimises their sales and revenue, meets targets and maintains high standards of customer care.
