Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice provides community, hospital and inpatient specialist palliative and supportive care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families within the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley.

The Hospice is seeking an experienced fundraising manager to join our team to cover maternity leave. If you want to make a difference, supporting our specialist clinical staff to provide quality compassionate care which promotes dignity and independence to people who are approaching the end of their lives as well as their families and friends; we would like you to get in touch. The Fundraising Team which you will be leading on an interim basis has fantastic energy and passion and a wide range of skills and experience to support our various streams of income generation including community, events, corporates, trusts and in memorium giving including legacies, you will also be responsible for managing PR and communications. Whilst our Head of Income Generation is away on maternity leave, we have an exciting new opportunity for an:


Interim Head of Fundraising – Part time
Hours: 21hrs per week
Salary: £30,000 per annum pro rata (negotiable)

Managing the fundraising department to deliver on all areas of fundraising strategy including community, corporate, major gifts, trusts, direct marketing, in memory, lottery and legacies.
Maximising the income of the Hospice and promote community awareness at all times ensuring that the Hospice clinical services and key messages are appropriately portrayed in all Hospice premises and at events.
The post holder will attend the Hospice Finance Committee, Voluntary Income Generation Committee, Board and be a part of the Senior Management Team.
