You will be responsible for supporting the Fundraising Development Manager in identifying, developing and implementing plans for maximising income in relation to all aspects of the Legacy, In Memoriam and Trusts programmes. You will be responsible for championing Legacy and In Memoriam giving, both internally amongst Hospice staff and volunteers and externally to the community and local businesses, including supporting the Manager in maintaining the campaign plan. You will required to generate income to support the work of Nottinghamshire Hospice through managing relationships with and making applications to a range of grant making trusts and charitable foundations. You will implement a trusts and foundations strategy, working within agreed budgets to achieve income targets as defined by the overall fundraising strategy. You will be a key member of the team which is currently working hard to raise the profile of the Hospice and gain more public support.

You will need previous experience within a charity having raised funds across all three strands of the programme and will have excellent time management skills and have the ability to manage more than one project at any one time is essential.

You will have the ability to communicate, interact and negotiate with people at all levels. You will be need flexible, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines. You will also be required to have a proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office.

The successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS Check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
