22.5 hours – 3 days per week
Salary £12,306 – £13,248 (FTE £20,510 – £22,080) per annum
St. Barnabas House in Worthing provides specialist palliative care to adult patients with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses. Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice near Arundel is the only children’s hospice in Sussex providing care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Communications & Marketing Team at St Barnabas House adult hospice and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
Based mainly at our Retail Distribution Centre in Broadwater, Worthing, this new post will be responsible for communications and marketing in relation to our Retail and Volunteering operations.
We are looking for:
- Significant experience of marketing and communications projects, including experience of the retail sector and an understanding of volunteer motivation.
- Solid experience of PR and media relations, social media, web and design/graphics.
- The ability to act independently, make decisions and build relationships.
A driving licence and access to a car is essential for this post.
