This event is for Nurses, Pharmacists and Doctors involved in prescribing, dispensing or administering medicine. Other topics covered include using the medication safety thermoment, incident reporting and making IV drug delivery safer.
The aim of this study day is to provide an overview of the risks associated with medicine management and the outcomes following an error or incident. This study day will cover topics including the importance of reporting and national benchmarking, legal and professional accountability and reducing medication errors in the community.
