National Association for Hospice at Home OACC Workshop – exploring the use of outcome measures in community palliative care

Categories: Community Engagement.

Date: Monday 25 April 2016
Venue: Lady Joseph Training Centre, Hospice House, London

On 25th April, NAHH in partnership with Hospice UK will run a workshop on the Outcome Assessment and Complexity Collaborative (OACC), the only workshop being provided especially for Hospice at Home services.

Dr Fliss Murtagh, Reader and Consultant in Palliative Care at The Cicely Saunders Institute, and Marie Cooper, Practice Development Lead for Hospice UK, will facilitate an interactive day exploring the use of OACC in the community and in particular with Hospice at Home teams.

The day will include a description of OACC and hearing the how the measures have been implemented to date. Interactive group work will provide the delegates an opportunity to share experiences, identify challenges and explore ways of overcoming perceived barriers.

This is an excellent opportunity for Hospice at Home services to look at the use of patient reported outcomes and how the information received can be used to support improving quality of care.

There are limited places on offer due to venue size.

Bookings for this event will be taken online only. Please visit the NAHH website. Upon booking, a request for payment (invoice) will be emailed to you. Payment can be made either by cheque or via electronic bank transfer. Please direct all enquiries regarding this event to kate@compleatconference.co.uk
