Need for openness about death and dying in Scotland

Categories: Community Engagement.

The week will provide a focus for raising awareness of the need for Scotland to become a place where people can be open about death, dying and bereavement.

Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief is an Alliance of organisations and individuals that are working to raise public awareness of ways of dealing with death, dying and bereavement and promote community involvement in death, dying and bereavement.

During the awareness week, the Alliance is encouraging its members to do one thing to raise awareness in their own area – there are a number of ideas of possible events and activities on its website.

The Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief Awareness Week coincides with the Dying Matters Awareness Week in England.
