Sue Ryder is a large innovative provider of health and social care with specialist palliative care centres; we are passionate about ensuring people receive the care they want.  We are looking for a talent and innovative educator to develop, deliver and evaluate the exciting new education programme for a Personalised Approach to End of Life Care based on Human Rights: “What Matters to me”

The programme is delivered at two levels aimed at both the registered and non-registered workforce, with the explicit aim of increasing awareness of how human rights can be used to aid decision making, effect change and ensure compassion and dignity are at the heart of personalised care.

You will lead with the new programme whilst raising the profile of our palliative care personalisation approach in both our services and across other providers; delivering education, training and evaluating the impact of training delivery.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Educated to degree level in a health related area with specialist knowledge of palliative care
  • Proven leader within a clinical governance/nursing/education role
  • Politically aware of the climate in which palliative care is delivered
  • Highly competent communicator
  • Registered Nursing qualification with the NMC.
  • Experience of conference proceedings.
  • Willing to travel within UK.
