Rotherham Hospice is the only adult hospice across the borough and its purpose is to enhance, through the provision of high quality palliative care and education, the quality of life of patients and those important to them.

To support this aim, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated senior social worker to develop and lead a small and dynamic patient and family support team that delivers assessment and care planning, bereavement, psychological and chaplaincy support and provides a range of specialist support services to families and patients.

You will be a qualified and highly experienced social worker with significant people management skills and healthcare experience.

Experience of working in a hospice, palliative care setting or joint health and social care environment would be an advantage. A flexible attitude to work and the ability to adapt to changing patient need is important.
