Hospice UK is inviting applications to perform the final evaluation of an international project that is working to support the development of children’s palliative care in two countries.
Since 2010 we have been working with the International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN) to address the need for appropriate children’s palliative care, with pain relieving medicines, for children in Malawi and Maharashtra state in India. The project has been funded by the UK’s Department for International Development and will come to a close in March 2015.
We are seeking an experienced programme evaluator, with expertise in monitoring and evaluating international health projects. Knowledge of the challenges facing palliative care development in resource poor settings will be an advantage. The evaluator will be expected to spend approximately 1 week in each country in March 2015.
How to apply
Please refer to the Evaluation Terms of Reference which details the work expected, budget and timelines and the tender process.
