Psycho-Social Impact of Cancer

This module focuses on the impact that cancer can have on all aspects of individuals lives in order that health care professionals are better prepared to deliver high quality holistic care.

The module will review issues along the age continuum, focusing on the psychological and social implications that cancer may have. Students will explore ways to assess the psychosocial impact of cancer, as well as interventions that may help the individual and their families to manage issues.
