Hours: 37.5 hpw (Job share considered)
Salary: Hospice scale 5 from £21,482-£26,837 (subject to job evaluation)

St Cuthbert’s Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic and results driven individual to join its expanding fundraising team.

In 2013, St Cuthbert’s Hospice launched its five year strategic plan, with a focus on making the hospice more sustainable and equipped to respond to the palliative care needs of the local community. The expansion of our successful Development Team is an opportunity for us to raise additional funds to meet the goals set out in the plan.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fundraiser to take responsibility for increasing income from our community & events programme.

Managing a team of fundraisers you will deliver a portfolio of events that promotes community engagement and increases the presence of St Cuthbert’s Hospice across County Durham. Working within the scope of the fundraising strategy, you will be responsible for meeting ambitious fundraising targets through a variety of community and event initiatives, promoting donor acquisition and supporter engagement. You will be an ambassador for the hospice in order to increase engagement, loyalty and support of the charity across County Durham.
