St Cuthbert’s Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic and results driven individual to join its expanding fundraising team.
In 2013, St Cuthbert’s Hospice launched its five year strategic plan, with a focus on making the hospice more sustainable and equipped to respond to the palliative care needs of the local community. The expansion of our
successful Development Team is an opportunity for us to raise additional funds to meet the goals set out in the plan.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Fundraiser to take responsibility for increasing income from individual and
corporate donations.
Managing a team of fundraisers you will drive income generation forward by stewarding
existing donors and recruiting new individuals to support the hospice. The focus of the role is to promote donor
development across the fundraising portfolio, taking responsibility for the development and implementation of an
individual and corporate giving strategy and overseeing the development of our database to guide marketing
activities effectively.
You will have experience in building relationships with high level donors in order to secure
financial sponsorship agreements and increase income received from major donors.
Working within the scope of the
fundraising strategy, you will be responsible for meeting ambitious fundraising targets for individual and corporate
giving, nurturing relationships with hospice supporters to deliver growth in income and to maximise opportunities to
promote donor development. You will be an ambassador for the hospice in order to increase engagement, loyalty
