Senior Health Care Assistants Band 3 – Community Team

Hours: Full/Part time & Bank
Salary: £17,213 – £20,231 p.a. pro-rata inc. 5% fringe London weighting Equivalent to AfC Band 3

Princess Alice Hospice continues to expand its Hospice at Home team. 

Finalists in three national awards during 2014 the team is supportive, dynamic and proactive and is currently working innovatively in the community supporting primary care using our specialist palliative care skills. Changing the way we work over the last 2 years now allows us to reach more people and ensure that more people achieve their preferred place of care towards the end of their life.

We are looking for experienced and versatile Senior Healthcare Assistants with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the clinical nurse specialists to support specific developments within the team aimed at ensuring more people achieve their preferred place of care. You will support our core business but also support commissioned projects across our catchment area.

You must have experience of working within a nursing team on an In-Patient Unit and/or in the Community and be able to demonstrate evidence of commitment to developing skills and knowledge in specialist palliative care. Experience of nursing terminally ill patients is also essential. You may be required to work flexibly across the seven day working week but you will not be required to work nights
