Salary: Equivalent to Band 3 £17,213 – £20,231 p.a. pro-rata inc. 5% fringe L.W.

The Hospice is currently expanding our Hospice at Home team. The Hospice is supportive but also dynamic and proactive and is currently working innovatively in the community supporting primary care using our specialist palliative care skills.
We are looking for experienced and versatile nurses and health care workers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, You will work closely with the CNS’s to support specific developments within the team aimed at ensuring more people achieve their preferred place of care. You will support our core business but also support commissioned projects across our catchment area.
You must have experience of working within a nursing team on an In-Patient Unit and/or in the Community and be able to demonstrate evidence of commitment to developing skills and knowledge in specialist palliative care. Experience of nursing terminally ill patients is also essential.
We are looking for qualified Senior Healthcare Assistants to work within the Hospice at Home team. The post holders will have the flexibility to work across all aspects of the service to meet the needs of our patients. The role involves working unsupervised in the delivery of delegated nursing duties. The post holders support Community CNSs and primary care teams in general nursing activities and patient care.
