Hospice Band 7: £27,127 – £39,827 pro rata, per annum
37.5 hours per week
We are one of the UK’s largest hospices providing a range of specialist palliative care for people living with or affected by life-limiting illnesses. As a charity, our services are available free of charge to people over the age of 16 from across the Greater Manchester area. Our annual running costs are over £9 million per year, approximately two-thirds of which needs to be raised from voluntary contributions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the hospice for a highly motivated and experienced registered practitioner with a passion for service development in palliative and end of life care. If you relish the chance to support the hospice and wider community in driving quality standards to ensure our patients and families receive the best possible care then we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services and working with the senior clinical management team you will be transformational in reviewing the services and achieving the organisational and strategic objectives. You will need to be motivated, innovative with a “can do” approach to service development and possess excellent organisational, project management and interpersonal skills. You will need to have a strong commitment to improving performance whilst remaining passionate about quality, demonstrate a high standard of business planning and budget management, and have the ability to use your initiative.
Informal visits are welcomed; please contact Rachel McMillan, Director of Clinical Services, on 0161 498 3604. For a recruitment pack please visit the St Ann’s Hospice website or call 0161 498 3623.
