Salary Range: £24,168 – £28,572 (according to qualifications and experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours
Saint Catherine’s Hospice aims to put patients at the centre of everything we do, to provide high quality specialist palliative care for those patients with complex needs and support the provision of good end of life care and long term palliative care for patients with less complex needs.
The Social Work team work collaboratively with Saint Catherine’s Hospice multi-disciplinary team and other health and social care providers in order to support integrated care for palliative and end of life care patients in our community, enabling patients to be cared for in the right place, at the right time for their needs.
Saint Catherine’s Hospice has a small social work team, including a half time Social Worker and a Co-ordinator (30 hours per week) in addition to the current vacancy. The successful applicant will be a qualified, experienced social work practitioner with a genuine interest in Palliative Care.
