Social Worker – Specialist Palliative Care
(Full time 37.5 hours per week)
The Heart of Kent Hospice provides expert palliative care and end of life care for people across Mid Kent, serving a population of approximately 220k. We now have the following opportunity which is a key role within our Family Services Team.
You will join a supportive professional team providing psychosocial and spiritual services to a wide range of service users, including patients, families and carers. You will manage your own caseload and be involved in assessing and working with individuals (both pre and post bereavement), children, families and groups. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working with this client group, and will possess a Diploma in Social Work or equivalent, as well as holding current registration with the General Social Care Council. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and must be able to demonstrate the ability to positively contribute to good working relationships in a multidisciplinary team setting.
