Survey on hospice staff satisfaction is open

Categories: Care, Featured, and Opinion.

The annual Birdsong Charity Consulting staff satisfaction survey is now open for registration for all hospices.

The purpose of the survey is to provide hospices with a means of seeking staff opinions on their jobs and their workplace, and to get the views of volunteers.  It also enables benchmarking against the other hospices taking part.

Following a review with members of the Strategic HR and Workforce Leads group (SHaWL), made up of Hospice UK members, the survey now includes an increased focus on staff well-being, more opportunity to measure perceptions of inclusion and diversity, further analysis of staff engagement levels, and the production of a shorter volunteer-version of the survey.

They have also enhanced the survey opinion scale to improve clarity between neutral and no-opinion responses. The core survey cost will also now include new analysis within the Overall Results survey report at no extra charge.

Due to COVID 19 the response window has been extended so that hospices can choose to run the survey anytime between 11th May – 18th December. There is a discount for early registrations up to 17th April.

For more information, including costs please visit Birdsong, and for queries on the survey contact Emma Howard on emma@birdsong.co.uk or 01858 525258.
