Would you like to join our dedicated team as we embark upon an exciting new chapter for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd? Would you like to be able to invest your skills and experience in the services we provide to our local community and really help to make a difference? We are a leading provider of Specialist Palliative Care services within the Cheshire, Ellesmere Port and Deeside areas, providing vital support to people with life limiting illnesses, supporting their families and providing outreach services within the local community. This is a great opportunity to become part of one of Chester’s most respected, registered charities.

As the Trusts and Legacies Fundraiser you will research, identify and apply to Charitable Trusts and Foundations in order to generate income for the Hospice. You will be responsible for the development of new initiatives to promote and maximise donations and nurture and develop external relationships with existing and prospective funders therefore you will need excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of achieving targets and growth in trust fundraising.

The Hospice provides a generous package to include 36 days holiday (includes public holidays); a contributory pension scheme; subsidised meals; free car parking; learning and development opportunities; a staff support service and a pleasant working environment.
