Princess Alice Hospice is one of the top ten adult hospices in the UK, providing specialist palliative care and support to a community of more than one million people living in Surrey, south west London and Middlesex.
Volunteers are vital to the Hospice, as they help us to support patients and their families by keeping our services and charity shops running smoothly, and raising essential funds.
We are looking for a Volunteer Manager to oversee the recruitment, training and ongoing support of our 1200 volunteers. Whilst the ideal candidate should have experience and knowledge of volunteering, the most important characteristics are that you will be an accomplished manager with excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with challenging situations.
You will also have a good understanding of Hospice care and demonstrate our values of: integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
