Could 2023 be your lucky year? St Barnabas Hospice is hosting a Spring Raffle, with a range of amazing prizes, to help their clinical teams continue to provide vital care and support to patients and families in Lincolnshire.
St Barnabas offers 13 chances to win, with the second prize being £500, the third prize being £250 and 5x £50 up for grabs. On top of that, those who enter before Friday, 17th February, will be entered into the Early Bird prize draw, which includes 5x £20 High Street vouchers.
The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday, 29th March, with entries closing the Friday before, 24th March.
Tracy Atkins is a Health and Rehabilitation Support Worker at the Hospice’s Inpatient Unit (IPU) in Lincoln and encourages people to get involved with the raffle this spring.
She said: “If you have known anyone who has received our care at the IPU, you will know how passionate we are about supporting those who need us. We believe everyone in Lincolnshire with a life-limiting or terminal illness deserves high-quality, dignified, compassionate care. That is my mission every day.
“I have been with St Barnabas for 23 years and love what I do. I know I can make a real difference to our patients and their families during difficult times in their lives; that’s what drives me every day.
“My job involves giving our patients that extra comfort, monitoring their symptoms while making sure they are relaxed and free from pain. This can be as simple as making sure they have enough to drink and eat or adding an extra pillow to their bed, but these small gestures can make such a difference.
“That level of compassion and care is what makes St Barnabas so special, and we need your support to continue being able to deliver these services. We know the cost of living is impacting everyone, and we greatly appreciate every penny and pound donated to us.
“By playing the raffle, you are not just supporting clinical staff like myself to continue giving vital care to the patients that need us – you are also giving yourself the opportunity to win some great cash prizes!”
The first prize of £2,023 would be a massive boost; it could pay for a holiday, home improvements or simply pay off some bills.
Tracy continued: “On behalf of all the Inpatient Unit care team and all St Barnabas staff, thank you for playing our raffle. More people seek our help each year, and we want to be able to support them in their time of need now and into the future, which, thanks to your help, we can look forward to.
“I wish you the very best of luck. Fingers crossed!”
Participants must be aged 18 or over to enter and be a Great Britain resident. Tickets are £1 each.
