Nathan Adelson Hospice’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, Angela Collins, has been newly appointed to CEO/Executive Director MyNHPCO (National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization) Steering Committee.
In her position with the committee, Collins will have the opportunity in her two-year term to take her leadership role to a national level by facilitating sessions with hospice organizations across the country, creating and updating resources for hospice and palliative care, and fostering professional networks with other NHPCO committees and the communities they serve. Collins also serves on NHPCO’s Quality & Standards Committee where she promotes quality hospice and community-based palliative care through NHPCO programmatic initiatives, updated the NHPCO Standards of Practice for Hospice Programs, and developed NHPCO quality resources, including performance measures, performance improvement resources, and hospice quality reporting program support materials.
