Call for nominations for the Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Physician Awards

The Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Phyiscian Awards are presented to physicians who exemplify excellence in the care of patients near the end of life.

Prizes of $25,000 will be awarded to a senior physician (20+ years in practice), and $25,000 to a mid-career physician (8-19 years in practice) who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to patients near the end of life through their doctoring, research, and/or service to their community. Three additional awards of $15,000 each will go to early-career physicians (0-7 years) who have already demonstrated exemplary efforts with patients near the end of life.

Nominees must be licensed physicians practicing in the United States. Any individual or group – including professional associates, patients, and their families – may submit nominations.

Nominations for 2020 are due by December 31, 2019.
