Becoming Hospice Medical Director CertifiedTM (HMDCTM) through the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board (HMDCB) will demonstrate a physician’s commitment and expertise to end-of-life care. Hospice organizations can be confident that their certified physicians possess a skill set that encompasses both the clinical and administrative abilities necessary in hospice medicine.
HMDCB’s 2015 application cycle is now open! Exam applications for the May 7-22, 2015 testing window are available on the HMDCB website through February 9, 2015; applications will be accepted through March 9, 2015 with an assessed late fee of $250. Visit HMDCB’s website at www.HMDCB.org for more about the certification program including eligibility requirements, the content blueprint and other important information.
