How can we best bring healing and comfort to those nearing the end of their lives? For those who are frail and ill, the dying process can be very difficult, fraught with pain, suffering, and loneliness. KALW’s End of Life Radio Project concludes with a final series of reports.
This two-part series examines racial disparities and cultural barriers faced by African-Americans, Asians, Latinos, and other ethnic minorities in accessing hospice, pain management, and comfort care.
The reports air on consecutive days this Wednesday, November 14 and Thursday, November 15 between 5:00 and 5:30 pm on KALW’s newsmagazine Crosscurrents. If you live in the Bay Area, tune in at 91.7. Or listen on-line http://www.kalw.org/
