Lexington Country Club’s annual Italian Open golf tournament raises more than $40,000 for Hope Hospice
Lexington Country Club members raised more than $40,000 at the 10th annual Italian Open Golf Tournament for Hope Hospice, based in Fort Myers, Florida.
Chaired by Jerry Cucuru, with the support of John Sackie, the Nov. 13 tournament was enjoyed by nearly 300 club members who took part in golf foursomes in the morning and afternoon, followed by a sumptuous Italian-themed dinner with a silent auction, prizes and awards.
Since the Italian Open Golf Tournament’s inception, Lexington Country Club has raised more than $300,000 in support of Hope’s mission of improving the quality of life for every person experiencing serious illness by providing exceptional, comforting care.
