The Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA) has a wonderful opportunity to become a partner of the Global Giving fundraising platform. In order to be accepted as a partner, WHPCA must meet a challenge of raising at least $5,000 (U.S.) from a minimum of 40 donors by September 30, 2021.
The project that WHPCA is currently raising funds for is the community home-based care project in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. Compassionate Narayanganj provides holistic home-based palliative care to 150 people living with life-limiting and serious chronic illness and to their families. Your help will supply vital medicines, food parcels, pain/symptom control, compassionate care-giving, and hope for the future.
“The campaign started Monday, September 13 and WHPCA needs your help to get past the donation threshold. The benefits of being a part of the Global Giving platform is that future fundraising efforts will open up to a wide audience as they promote worthwhile projects,” said Stephen R. Connor, executive director of the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance.
