NHPCO 2021 Interdisciplinary Conference Goes Totally Virtual

Categories: Education.

After careful consideration, the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Board of Directors and leadership team have decided that the upcoming 2021 Interdisciplinary Conference will transition to an entirely virtual event.

As the surge of COVID-19 expands throughout the country and hospice and palliative care organizations continue working through the ongoing pandemic, NHPCO feels that an in-person gathering would not be responsible at this time. The 2021 Interdisciplinary Conference will take place online September 20 – 21, but not onsite in Memphis, Tennessee.

While the opportunity to gather as a provider community will be missed, the IDC21 will offer a robust, virtual professional development experience. Participants can expect inspiring and informative keynote presentations, educational sessions in eight different focus areas, presentation of the Volunteers are the Foundation of Hospice Awards, an online exhibit hall, and the opportunity to network with other conference participants.

IDC21 content will be available on-demand through December 31, 2021, making this an event that can fit your schedule through the rest of this year.

Registration for IDC21 is temporarily off-line as staff make necessary adjustments.

If you have already registered for IDC21, the NHPCO staff will reach out to you shortly with further details. Additionally, staff will be contacting our exhibitors, sponsors, and faculty with additional information.

NHPCO’s Statement on Vaccinations is available on the NHPCO website.
