Four awards recognize those who promote professional chaplaincy.

They are the Distinguished Service Award, the Anton Boisen Professional Service Award, the Retired Chaplain Award, and the Outstanding Local Leadership Award. The four awards offer recognition for everyone – from administrators and laypeople who demonstrate commitment to the development of chaplaincy care programs – to chaplains who provide that care, including those who have retired from the profession. For a list of the awards including previous winners and nomination criteria, go to the APC Annual Leadership Award nomination criteria and recipients list on www.professionalchaplains.org.

APC members and colleagues of members are encouraged to nominate people who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in chaplaincy care. Nominations must be submitted by Feb. 29 by email at info@professionalchaplains.org, fax to 847.240.1015 or mail to the APC National Office, 2800 W. Higgins, Suite 295, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169.

Award recipients are recognized each year at the annual conference of the association. Together @ the Table: Chaplains as Strategic Partners, the 2016 APCTM Annual Conference, will be held at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Florida June 23-26.
