Nightingale House Hospice is celebrating an incredible milestone in its eCommerce journey, having raised over £130,000 through online sales last year.
Thanks to the generosity of their supporters, a remarkable 4,371 items were sold, helping to fund vital care for patients and families with life-limiting illnesses across Wrexham, Flintshire, East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns, including Oswestry and Whitchurch.
The hospice’s eCommerce platforms, including its eBay store, provide an innovative way to maximize the impact of donated goods. By selling high-quality and unique items online, Nightingale House can reach a wider audience, ensuring that every donation goes further in supporting its specialist services.
Katie Roberts, Head of Retail at Nightingale House Hospice, said: “We are absolutely thrilled by the success of our eCommerce and the team behind it that have contributed to this outcome.
“Every item sold not only finds a new home but also contributes directly to the care we provide.
“Our supporters’ generosity makes this possible, and we are so grateful for every donation, bid, and purchase.
“We look forward to continuing to grow our online presence and making an even bigger impact in the future.”
Nightingale House Hospice remains committed to expanding its online retail operations, allowing even more supporters to shop with purpose. Every purchase and donation helps provide specialist palliative care and services, ensuring that patients and families receive the support they need during difficult times.
