We are delighted to announce that our annual Colour Run event, held on Sunday, 22 September 2024, brought together around 800 participants and raised an incredible £15,000 to support our vital care services for patients and families.
This year is very special as we’re celebrating 30 years of providing compassionate care and we’re grateful for the continued support from our community.
The colourful 5K event saw people of all ages and abilities come to join in the fun. Participants were showered with bright colours as they ran, walked, and danced through the course, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the turnout and the support we received.” Said Kate Heaps, our Chief Executive. “The £15,000 raised will help us continue providing essential care and services to our patients and their loved ones. We are truly grateful to everyone who took part, volunteered, and sponsored this fantastic event.”
Headline sponsor Jennings & Barrett and key sponsors Freeman Harris, Judge & Priestley, CC Events, and PPL PRS played a crucial role in making the event a success, contributing through sponsorship and active participation.
The Mayor of Bexley, Councillor Sue Gower MBE JP, also attended to show her support for the hospice and the local community.
Funds raised from the Colour Run will go directly towards supporting the hospice’s purpose- to support anyone living with a terminal illness to live as well as they can, for as long as they can.
