Themed “integrating the old and the new” — the recently published Hospice Africa Uganda (HAU) annual report 2011 -2012 acknowledges the achievements of those who served HAU in past and brought it to be the organisation it is to date.
The report looks at achievement and progress during a year of restructuring and transition, and refers to the first full year of morphine production by hospices in Uganda on behalf of the Ugandan government.
The report covers HAU’s wide range of services and corresponding achievements in:
- clinical services
- bereavement services
- occupational and physical therapy services
- morphine production
- training programmes, among others.
