Ground was broken for the new facility on Saturday, August 10 by local politicians and staff from Hospice Georgian Triangle.
The event also marked the unveiling of the hospice’s name. Donald Campbell’s family had been working with Hospice Georgian Triangle to develop a legacy gift for the community. In memory of Mr. Campbell, and in recognition of the gift of cost of the construction of the new facility, the new residential hospice will be named Campbell House.
Construction of Campbell House begins in a few weeks and it should be open in the spring of 2014.
