These Pediatric Palliative Care Fellowship Programs are being offered jointly by Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration Foundation and the Hyderabad Centre for Palliative Care.
Upon completion of either of these training programs, a physician is expected to be a competent subspecialist in Pediatric Palliative Medicine, capable of assuming a consultant’s role in the subspecialty. The physician will acquire competency in all aspects of the subspecialty, including its foundations in the basic medical sciences and scholarly activities, as well as leadership, advocacy and teaching. Only candidates who have completed post-graduate training in pediatrics are eligible for these training programs.
The details are as follows:
1. Hybrid Pediatric Palliative Care Fellowship: For pediatricians in South Asia
This is a 1-year full time clinical fellowship program, which begins in January each year. Applications are due in September of each year and select candidates will be offered an interview. There is a fee for the course, with scholarship funding available for those with financial need.

2. Hyderabad-based Pediatric Palliative Care Fellowship: For pediatricians in India
This program is a 1-year full time in-person clinical fellowship program, which has two entry times per year, in January and July.
Fellows will have clinical training with the Hyderabad Centre for Palliative Care and affiliated programs for the duration of the fellowship. This clinical training is complemented by teaching and training workshops with local and international faculty and a scholarly project.
Applications are accepted at any time, with select candidates being offered an interview. Admission is for starting dates in January and June each year. The position includes a stipend. There is a modest course fee.
