We are delighted to report that the Official Release of the Little Stars project takes place today at the 2nd Congress on Paediatric Palliative Care in Rome. Over the coming year a new short film will be released every 2 weeks.
Little Stars tells the surprisingly life-affirming stories of young people around the world living with life-limiting illnesses. Against the odds, these children and young adults are making the most of every moment thanks to the support of their loved ones, working in harmony with passionate ‘pain and palliative care’ teams. These remarkable stories show young people finding hope, love, joy and attainment in the face of the inevitable.
However, there are currently an estimated 20 million children around the world who could benefit from palliative care, but access to services remains an issue (ICPCN).
Little Stars will be distributed across a variety of platforms including public screenings, on television (programme presented by David Suchet), as a series of short films, a one hour film, online, social media, video-on-demand, DVD, photography exhibitions and a smartphone app.
Please subscribe to the Little Stars YouTube channel and connect with the project on Facebook , Twitter and Pinterest to stay tuned for the release of new films, guest blogs, tweet and treats!
