The London-based choir Singology are recording and releasing a charity single for Richard House Children’s Hospice with the aim of donating all proceeds from the song to the hospice. The song will be an arrangement by the world renowned choral arranger and Singology founder, Mark De-Lisser, of Shalamar’s “A Night to Remember!”
They’ve chosen to support Richard House because for founder Mark De-Lisser, who is also a vocal coach on TV programmes such as The Voice and Gareth Malone’s The Naked Choir, the cause is one close to his heart. Having experienced the loss of a child, and the feeling of having nowhere to go as a parent, he understands the importance of places such as Richard House that provide care and support for families. And with Richard House’s focus on living for today and creating positive memories for tomorrow, what better song to support the charity than by giving them “A Night to Remember”.
Anna Bates, Head of Fundraising says: “We are delighted that Singology have chosen to support Richard House with their Christmas single. We hope that everyone will support this fantastic project to help raise funds for and awareness of the vital services Richard House provide free of charge to support children with life limiting conditions and their families across East London. We need to raise £2million in voluntary donations each year and Singology’s support will assist us in caring for those who need our help.” Anna Bates, Head of Fundraising
In order to cover the costs of recording the single, Singology are currently trying to raise £2,000 through PledgeMusic. Please help them to record the single by pledging at: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/anighttoremember
