Waddle London for Richard House Children’s Hospice this November

Categories: Care.

Richard House are delighted to announce that their flagship festive event ‘Penguin Waddle’ is back this year on the 15th of November. With performances from the famous Singology choir and our fashionista host Josh Newis-Smith to warm up participants in the shadow of St Pauls, a new iconic waddle route passing central London landmarks, and a fantastic penguin party with DJ by Tower Bridge, this is the ideal event to get friends, families and colleagues in the Christmas spirit to help support children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

The waddle will take place on Tuesday 15 November, 6:30pm starting at Paternoster Square by St Pauls and finishing at the Scoop by Tower Bridge. For just £25 registration fee plus £50 minimum sponsorship, supporters will get their own penguin outfit, and will join hundreds of other penguins in this festive 2km waddle. Family and group discounts available.

Anna Bates, Head of Fundraising said “The Penguin Waddle is a vital fundraiser for Richard House and has raised over £140,000 for the hospice since 2011. Richard House has to raise £2 million every year from voluntary donations to provide specialist care free of charge to children and families. Please sign up today, join the festivities and make a difference for East London’s Children’s Hospice.”
