Bursaries on offer for the EAPC World Congress

PACED and the European Association for Palliative Care are offering ten bursaries for people from Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) to attend this year’s online World Congress of the EAPC. The bursaries are available to people who work in, teach or study palliative care, would like to learn about recent innovations and developments, but for whom the registration fee would be a barrier to attending the Congress.

Applicants must live in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine or Uzbekistan. PACED – the Foundation for Palliative Care Education – is a young charity which is setting up a range of programmes to develop the knowledge and skills of people who provide palliative care, and help raise standards of palliative care teaching in undergraduate, postgraduate and specialist settings. As part of the EAPC Congress, PACED will be holding a side event to discuss regional priorities in palliative care education.
