The scholarships are open to everyone, however priority will be given to:
- those whose participation in the 17th ICASA conference will enhance their work in their own communities
- those who are able to transfer skills and knowledge acquired at the conference
- those whose abstracts have been selected for presentation at the conference.
Full and partial scholarships are available. Full scholarships include the conference registration fee, economy-class airfare, modest shared accommodation and a daily subsistence allowance during the conference (7–11 December 2013). Partial scholarships include any combination.
The decision to award a full or partial scholarship will be made by the Scholarship Program Committee. The deadline for the submission of scholarship applications is 13 June 2013.
The 17th ICASA conference will take place in Cape Town, South Africa from 7 to 11 December 2013. The theme of the conference is ‘Now more than ever: targeting zero’.
