The campaign: ‘If death has 100% success rate, PAIN SHOULD NOT’, aims to raise $30 000, the total cost of running the Pediatric Palliative Mobile Department for 12 months.
Hospice Angelus spokesperson, Thomas Ghislain, said: “Our main goal is to become sustainable thanks to the help of the entire Moldovan and international community. The number of our patients has increased and, because of the lack of funds, our medical capacity has decreased.
“Our palliative home care services have remained highly professional and we are doing our best to improve our work by attending trainings and specialized conferences.”

Hospice Angelus employs 20 medical staff, and took care for over 2300 patients last year. The Republic of Moldova is considered to be the poorest country in Europe, and more than 90% of the beneficiaries of Hospice Angelus come from vulnerable social and economic backgrounds.
