The app – available on both iPhone and Android – gives families the chance to leave instant feedback on the care provided by the hospice, as well as passing on care-related messages and enquiries.
The hospice also intends to use the app to gather families’ opinions on other care-related subjects.
Clair Holdsworth, interim director of care at the charity, said that she felt the app would enable the hospice to communicate with families in a more efficient fashion.
“We really value the feedback we receive from the families we support and we are delighted to now be able to offer these families another medium for them to share with us their thoughts and opinions on the care they receive,” she explained.
“We are committed to delivery outstanding care and this app ensures that we are constantly able to listen and respond to our changing children and family needs, we are passionate about delivering the highest quality experience.”
