The Taskforce is undertaking a piece of work to find out more about the role of occupational therapists working in palliative care in Europe, and to identify gaps in service provision. They would like to reach as many palliative care occupational therapists across Europe as possible, to participate in a survey to gather this data. The survey can be found online.
There are relatively few occupational therapists registered with EAPC, so the Taskforce requests that the link to the survey be distributed as widely as possible.
Survey respondents may be working in palliative care full-time, or they may see palliative care patients as part of a mixed case-load. If respondents work with people with life-limiting illness at any stage, from diagnosis to end of life care, their input will be very valuable. It should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
For people who have limited access to the internet, the questionnaire is also available as a Word document from Gail Eva.
The results of the survey will be presented at the 13th World Congress of the EAPC 30 May – 2 June 2013.
