The first edition of ‘Millions Saved’ (2004) documented 17 cases of public health interventions in low and middle income countries that had led to observable improvements in health outcomes.
The second edition (2007) expanded on this effort, adding new cases with the aim of explaining “what works” in global health.
For the third edition, proposals are requested for case studies that demonstrate recent developments in global health impact. Case studies that demonstrate impact on financial protection, equity, and responsiveness as well as health are welcomed.
Proposal submissions must be received by 15 January 2013.
Guidelines for submission and selection criteria are available on the Centre for Global Development website.
