A recently published article in Lancet Public Health on the importance of governments and communities investing in bereavement care as a public health priority can be downloaded for free. This article (co-authored by WHPCA Executive Director Dr. Stephen Connor) proposes a new Transitional Bereavement Care Model calling on healthcare institutions to prioritise care for the bereaved and increase compassionate community development.
