Palliative Care Triage Project – call for research participants for online experiment

Categories: Research.

Participation will contribute to the development of a much-needed decision aid for palliative care triage.

The researchers hope that examining the triage rationale of experienced palliative care practitioners in a systematic manner will inform a decision aid that enables the equitable, efficient and transparent allocation of resources.

The experiment is open to doctors and nurses working primarily in palliative care, and other health professionals who primarily work in palliative care and are involved in triage of new referrals.

It is open to clinicians in metropolitan and regional/rural inpatient, consultation liaison and community palliative care services worldwide.

Participants must have a minimum of two years’ work experience in palliative care.

The investigators are particularly interested to hear from health professionals working in countries other than the US and UK.
